Our established plumbing solutions company is seeking a strategic Purchasing Manager to drive our procurement activities and lead our purchasing and warehouse teams to new levels of excellence.About the RoleAs our Purchasing Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for sourcing equipment, materials, and services while managing critical vendor relationships. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Branch Manager, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's efficiency and profitability.What You'll DoLead Procurement Strategy:Purchase materials, fixtures, and supplies including large direct ordersReview and manage all new construction purchase orders and approvalsMonitor material and purchase levels to protect cash flowMaintain accurate costing and vendor information in internal systemsBuild Strategic Partnerships:Meet with vendors to negotiate pricing and develop partnershipsMaintain strong relationships with major builders' purchasing teamsProcess quarterly, bi-annual, and annual manufacturer rebatesContinuously improve sourcing strategiesLead Operations & Teams:Direct warehouse supervisor on inventory management and operationsLead the monthly inventory team and ensure accuracyOversee proper receiving and tracking of all fixtures and materialsRun scheduled reports and maintain department oversightWhat You BringRequired Qualifications:Associate's degree in Business Administration (Bachelor's preferred)Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or logisticsStrong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with inventory software and management processesAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 poundsKey Competencies:Self-starter with ability to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesSound judgment and ability to handle confidential informationStrong communication and relationship-building skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 based on experienceFull-time, stable position with an established industry leaderOpportunity to lead and develop a high-performing teamDirect reporting relationship to the Branch ManagerProfessional growth opportunities in a dynamic environmentWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment with regular interaction with warehouse operations.
