ResponsibilitiesProject Description:The team supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians.The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner.These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools.Job Description: Support development and define software solutions to support a data tracking and metrics solution.Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with systems engineers and developers across projects to support the planning, design, development, and utilization of a final product recommendation.Work directly with the customer and team to evolve requirements and support the creation and presentation of design documents and product demonstrations.Other duties will include product evaluation, integration, testing and design process for data tracking and metrics solutions.Participate in Agile development activities, including Sprint planning, scheduling, and Jira ticket management.Ensure software standards and best practices are utilized.Desired Qualifications: Ability to work in a team environment; good communication and collaboration skills; self-starterFamiliarity with Quarkus or SpringBoot (web container)Jakarta Faces and Primefaces for UI level development of web applicationsRelational databases such as PostgresUsing Maven, Git and Jenkins environmentsElasticSearch aggregationsAWS Cloud technologiesAgile methods and toolsQualificationsBasic Requirements:Active TS/SCI with current polygraph requiredAt least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolutionBachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is highly desiredA relevant bachelor’s degree will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.At least one of the following certifications:AWS Certified Developer – AssociateAWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – AssociateAWS Certified Generative AI Developer – ProfessionalAWS DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)Benefits: Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.Peraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
